Posting Groups are an important feature of your software that works in the background to get all your company’s transactions to the right place in your general ledger. Often a set-and-forget feature, they are also frequently misunderstood. Attend this workshop format class to create the posting groups your company should have, not necessarily the ones you have today. Learn how the chart of accounts and posting groups work together, what to do when posting groups are defined incorrectly, and exactly how to test if posting groups are posting to the general ledger correctly. There is no one size fits all for any company’s posting groups, so be sure to bring your questions. Our instructors are experienced Controllers who have used this software for many years and are happy to discuss what will work best for you.
